Royal Victorian Aero Club is headquartered at Moorabbin Airport, a busy general aviation airfield some 25 kilometres south of the central business district (CBD). Moorabbin has multiple sealed runways, a control tower and associated controlled airspace and is an ideal location in which to learn to fly, whether you are looking to a fully professional career or simply to fly for enjoyment. RVAC has a range of aircraft available, from single engine trainers through to quite complex twin-engined aircraft, plus a flight simulator certified for instrument flight training.
Over ninety years have passed since that first meeting at Point Cook and over fifty years have passed since the move to Moorabbin. During that time a constant stream of members and new pilots has passed through our doors, many famous, many unsung. It behoves the young and the new to maintain the history and traditions of the Royal Victorian Aero Club.
The Royal Victorian Aero Club offers following Courses.
