Reference: Sweet Briar College
Sweet Briar College was founded in 1901, the legacy of Indiana Fletcher Williams, who left her entire estate to found an institution in memory of her only daughter, Daisy, who died at the age of 16 in 1884. With a campus of 3,250 acres, it's nice to be able to pick up a bike (a pink one at that) and go where you need to go. It's a recent tradition, and one that makes Sweet Briar a place to write home about. Be part of it.
